 Ram Mandir Ayodhya

Before the opening of the Ram Temple, President Murmu writes to PM Modi, "As you prepare to go for Pran Pratishtha."

The ceremonies will be conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a group of priests lead by Lakshmikant Dixit conducting the principal ceremonies.

On the eve of the Ram Temple consecration ceremony, President Droupadi Murmu wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that she could only think of the special civilisational journey that would be completed with each step Modi took in the temple's hallowed grounds. The PM is scheduled to go for the Pran Pratishtha.

Ayodhya: On Sunday, the eve of the temple's consecration ceremony, flowers are being placed around the Ram Temple.

"I can only imagine the unique civilizational journey that will be accomplished with each step taken by you in the hallowed precincts," Murmu wrote, as she got ready to go for the Pran Pratishtha of Prabhu Shri Ram's murti at the new temple built in His birthplace, Ayodhya Dham.

Murmu added that Modi's eleven-day pre-inauguration rituals were sacrosanct and a spiritual act of sacrifice. "The intense 11-day Anushthan you undertook is a supreme spiritual act of sacrifice and surrender to Prabhu Shri Ram, in addition to being a sacred ritual."

Monday is set aside for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla statue at the Ayodhya temple. The ceremonies will be conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with a group of priests lead by Lakshmikant Dixit conducting the principal ceremonies. Celebrities and other well-known figures have invited each other to the event, which has attracted notice.

She expressed her sincere wishes to Modi as he made his way to Ayodhya.

The 1.5-tonne, 51-inch-tall idol, which was carved from the same stone, was made by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj. It shows Lord Ram as a five-year-old standing on a lotus.

Murmu also wrote about the temple's national significance and the current celebrations going on.

"The nationwide celebratory atmosphere surrounding the inauguration of Prabhu Shri Ram's grand temple in Ayodhya Dham is an unrestrained expression of India's eternal soul," the author said. It is our collective good fortune to be able to observe the start of a new phase in the revival of our country.

Murmu also discussed the importance of Lord Ram today and his many virtues. She declared, "This magnificent temple will bring the universal values that Prabhu Shri Ram represents—courage, compassion, and a constant focus on duty—closer to the people." The highest qualities of our spiritual and cultural heritage are represented by Prabhu Shri Ram. He stands for goodness above all, which opposes evil at all times. His values and way of life have inspired nation-builders and shaped numerous moments in our history.

She also discussed the significance of Lord Ram in Mahatma Gandhi's life.

Ramanama gave Mahatma Gandhi Ji the strength he needed to breathe his last. "Even though my heart and reason realized long ago that God's highest quality is Truth, I recognize Truth by the name of Rama." He remarked, "That one name has saved me and is still saving me in the darkest hour of my trial."

Pathbreaking intellectuals were also drawn to Prabhu Shri Ram's teaching of treating everyone with compassion and dignity, regardless of their social status.

She remarked that the vision of Indian administration is a reflection of Lord Ram's emphasis on justice and the well-being of the populace.

Murmu complimented Modi further on his efforts to improve the lot of the populace, saying, "You recently released the first installment of different benefits to the people of vulnerable tribal villages under the PM-JANMAN program, as an indication of this. The fact that you also mentioned Mata Shabari in your speech on that occasion was encouraging. She would, in fact, be really pleased to witness both the wellbeing of the populace and the temple of Prabhu Shri Ram.

"Prabhu Shri Ram is the epitome of everything that is good about this land of ours—indeed, about humanity at large," she continued. May He lead the world to the correct path and grant everyone happiness and serenity!
