Hrithik Roshan coming movie on 2024
Siddharth Anand is the director of the upcoming action movie Fighter in the Hindi language, which Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures are producing. The film is the first of a planned series of aerial action films and stars Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and Anil Kapoor in the key roles.
The movie was revealed on January 10, 2021. The COVID-19 epidemic caused a significant delay in the preproduction. Filming for principal photography eventually started in November 2022 and was completed by late October. Filming took place across Assam, Hyderabad, Jammu & Kashmir, and Mumbai on several schedules. For the movie, real Indian Air Force cadets were involved. Five tracks make up the Vishal-Shekhar soundtrack CD for the movie, which also has cinematography by Satchith Paulose. DNEG is in charge of the graphics.
Fighter's planned September 30, 2022, cinema release date was postponed due to production hold-ups brought on by the COVID-19 epidemic. The movie is slated to open in theaters on January 25, 2024, which falls over Republic Day weekend.

Production
Development
While filming War (2019), Siddharth Anand described the concept of creating a high-end action thriller set against the backdrop of fighter jets. Hrithik Roshan adored the story's central idea. Anand worked on refining the story during India's COVID-19 lockdown and told Roshan about it; Roshan later gave his approval for the movie. It was announced in December 2020 that Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand would rejoin for a film following War (2019).
In honor of Hrithik Roshan's birthday on January 10, 2021, Fighter was formally unveiled. This is the first aerial action movie in India. This is the franchise's debut installment. Under the auspices of Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, Siddharth Anand, Jyoti Deshpande, Ajit Andhare, Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, and Anku Pande produce the movie. A ₹250 crore budget is being used to produce the movie.
The film's director, Siddharth Anand, said, "We have advanced to a new level. The audience has never, ever seen something similar in India. We have never tried anything like it before. A film like this just cannot be produced for the price at which we are doing it. It isn't achievable. We are investigating some extremely unique topics. I can't discuss anything because I want everyone to see it when the teaser is released. I hope it will simply astound them. The movie uses cutting-edge technology and filming methods and is intended for a worldwide audience.
Pre-production
With assistance from Siddharth Anand, novelist and former army officer Ramon Chibb wrote the story. Later, under Hrithik Roshan's guidance, Anand and his group of writers created the movie's script while under lockdown. The movie features "much heavier" action scenes than Pathaan (2023), according to Akshay Oberoi. The majority of Anand's standard technicians were also kept on board, including action director Sunil Rodrigues, stunt coordinator SeYeong Oh, editor Aarif Sheikh, and cinematographer Satchith Paulose. The movie posters were designed by Raj Khatri.
In September 2022, Roshan started taking seminars and had continued 12-week simulator training and studied the complexities of portraying a fighter jet pilot. Under Kris Gethin's guidance, he shed pounds and strengthened his core muscles. He spent time with the pilots and cadets in November, observing their behavior and learning about their workings, in addition to seeing the air base and the Air Force training academy in Telangana.
The film features the real-life Indian Air Force cadets. From Dundigal Air Force Academy, which is close to Hyderabad, and the IAF headquarters in Delhi, the cadets arrived by plane.
Casting
Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone were formally revealed as the leads of their first joint film in January 2021. Roshan plays Patty, an officer in the air force. His persona was described by Roshan as "young, spontaneous, and short-tempered". In the movie, Padukone plays an air force officer and is featured in multiple combat scenes. For their respective parts, Padukone and Roshan trained in martial arts. The cast welcomed Anil Kapoor in December 2021. By November 2022, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi had been brought on board. Talat Aziz became a cast member in March 2023, contributing to the movie as Patty's father. Sanjeeda Sheikh was confirmed to have a major part in May 2023.
In Assam, principal photography got underway on November 14, 2022. Tezpur Air Force Station hosted this schedule, which included Roshan, Padukone, and Kapoor. Team returned to Mumbai on 28 November 2022 after finishing a 10-day first schedule in Assam.

For the fourth schedule, the Roshan started filming in a Chembur bungalow in Mumbai on March 19. Talat Aziz joined this program, and some poignant scenes were captured. The month-long timetable was supposed to conclude on April 24. A behind-the-scenes video of Kapoor working out in -110 degrees Celsius for the schedule was posted on Instagram. The group also recorded a 25-minute action-packed conclusion scene, which they say took 120 hours to film over five days.
Production designer Rajat Poddarr and his colleagues created a large set for the upcoming schedule that features the interiors of an air force base, classrooms, and offices at Mumbai's Yash Raj Studios. The next schedule, which included Grover, Roshan, Kapoor, and Padukone, began on May 14. The team spent three days in May filming a combination of Padukone and Kapoor scenes in Mysore Colony in Chembur. at order to prevent web video from the movie from being leaked, Padukone and Roshan's tearful moments were filmed at Chandivali starting on May 22 with just 20 to 30 extras. By mid-June, the Mumbai schedule was finished. Roshan spent more than a month shooting inside the Sukhoi Su-30MKI. In Mumbai, dramatic scenes starring Roshan and Kapoor were filmed in late August. Early in September,A song choreographed by the pair Bosco–Caesar and starring Roshan and Padukone with the full cast was recorded at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai at the beginning of September. In Italy, the group completed up two songs later in early October. At Yash Raj Studios, principal photography concluded on October 30, 2023, after 87 working days of filming.
Post-production
After the movie's filming was finished, post-production on the picture started in early June 2023 and lasted for six months because it included a lot of computer graphics and special effects. DNEG was responsible for the film's visual effects.
Music
Vishal-Shekhar is the duo that composed the music. Five songs total, one of which is an emotive track. T-Series has acquired the music rights.
On December 15, 2023, the debut song, "Sher Khul Gaye," was made available. On December 22, 2023, the second single, "Ishq Jaisa Kuch," was made available. On January 8, 2023, "Heer Aasmani," the third single, was made available.

The movie's teaser was made available on December 8, 2023.
Release
Fighter is slated for release on January 25, 2024, which happens to be Republic Day.

Future
The decision to turn it into a franchise was made while the script was being written. It was announced in May 2023 that when Anand wrapped up filming Tiger vs. Pathaan, work on the follow-up picture, Fighter 2, will start.
